Sergio Sastre Florez

I am Sergio Sastre Florez, a Lead Android Engineer with 11+ years of experience at well-known German companies such as Check24, Deutsche Bahn, AutoScout24, Lieferando and Hermes Germany, currently working as a freelancer/consultant.

Officially recognized by Google as one of the ~150 Google Developer Experts (GDE) for Android in Europe, I actively contribute to the Android community through blog posts, tech talks, podcasts and open source as well as videos on augmented coding with AI. 

In 2024, I was also honored with the Google Peer Bonus Award for my open-source contributions in Android.

I work by the principle "quality always comes first" and strive to create impact in every project I take on.
